Heavy Equipment Operator
Job Description
- Overall handling all movement loaded and empty containers within the Terminal efficiently while ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
- Operate cranes (50Ton or 30Ton or 14Ton or 10Ton) with a hydraulic boom to move, load and unload materials, equipment and supplies from/on trucks, trailers, dollies, platforms, racks and railcars at the work Site(s) as directed by the Company Representative(s) or Area Representative(s).
- Operate cranes within safe working limits following safe lifting practices as outlined in manufacturer(s) operating manual and instructed by crane training.
- Operates vehicle safely and properly and obeys local traffic laws and regulations.
- Complies with company safety procedures/regulations and strictly enforces them with the workforce under his responsibility Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with basic Arabic & English.
- Basic knowledge of repair and maintenance of vehicles Familiar with all traffic rules/regulations of Saudi Arabia.
Skills
- Operating and maintaining gasoline, diesel and electric forklifts from 2.5Ton to 20Ton capacity.
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English
- Have passed SAUDI ARAMCO testing and certification for heavy equipment operation.
